About
Grateful Goddesses
We are all on personal life journeys, and I am grateful
for the life I am living. I realize, however, there
are many experiences I have yet to learn from. I
live a traditional life and am appreciative for that.
I am truly blessed and grateful. Though satisfied
with my life, I have always been aware that there
was so much more for me to learn. I wanted to have
a type of 'taste test' or spiritual Tupperware party
to get my feet wet without jumping all the way in.
A
few of my close friends joined me on this journey,
and it has slowly evolved into what the Goddesses
represent today. We wanted to add new experiences
to our lives and build and share what we have already
learned with others. Our initial gatherings ranged
from vision boards to favorite things. What was unique
about it was that everyone participated with eagerness
and had similar intentions. We created a list of
activities, experiences and adventures that we wanted
to explore or wanted to share with others. Then,
I made this exploration happen as I searched for
speakers, venues and ideas that the Grateful Goddesses
organically grew.
We have gathered monthly for
the past year in various venues to share topics such
as meditation, self defense, passion for fashion,
wine tasting, health and wellness and more. Spirituality
is a common theme in all areas. We are able to explore
our passions and share with others while also stepping
out of the box and learning something new among friends.
Focusing positively on what we want in our lives
and trying to live in the present moment daily and
showing gratitude are all aspects of being a Grateful
Goddess.
Grateful Goddess gatherings are held monthly at various
venues throughout the Chicago area. Depending on
the venue, the gatherings are usually on a weekday
evening. Speakers are Goddesses themselves or other
people they have recommended or experienced. Check
out upcoming events.
